The attorney in this position will provide exceptional representation to clients while also working towards dismantling systemic racism and prejudice in the criminal legal system. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Represent clients in all stages of their criminal case - Conduct legal research and analysis - Draft and prepare legal documents - Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and colleagues - Negotiate with prosecutors and other stakeholders - Manage a full caseload - Seek professional development opportunities
Minimum Qualifications: - Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law - Experience as a practicing Attorney - Admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland at the time of appointment
