The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is seeking a Legal Fellow for the Exoneration Justice Clinic. This is a limited term position for a maximum of 2 years, with a salary of up to $90,000, commensurate with experience. The Fellow will work as a member of the Exoneration Justice Clinic, investigating and litigating wrongful conviction cases under the direction of the Director and Staff Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. and be a licensed attorney in Indiana, or be willing to take the Indiana bar exam at the first available opportunity. This is a unique opportunity to work with students and gain experience in a highly specialized area of law.

The Exoneration Justice Clinic Legal Fellow position is a limited term role with a maximum duration of 2 years. The Fellow will be responsible for investigating and litigating wrongful conviction cases as part of the Exoneration Justice Clinic at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. The Fellow will work closely with the Director, Staff Attorney, and students to provide legal representation to individuals who have been wrongfully convicted. The Fellow will also chair the Intake Committee, which decides which cases will be accepted for representation by the Clinic. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those seeking justice and to gain valuable experience in the legal field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate and litigate wrongful conviction cases as a member of the Exoneration Justice Clinic
• Work under the direction of the Director and Staff Attorney
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of students investigating wrongful conviction cases
• Chair the Intake Committee, deciding which cases will be accepted for representation by the Clinic
• Work with students in drafting court pleadings seeking post-conviction relief

Qualifications:
• J.D. required
• Licensed attorney in Indiana, or be willing to take the Indiana bar exam at the first available opportunity
• Experience investigating and litigating wrongful convictions as either a law student or attorney preferred

Salary and Benefits:
• Up to $90,000, commensurate with experience
• Full-time position with a schedule of M-F 8am-5pm
• 12-month position
