Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as wills, trusts, advance medical directives, powers of attorney, deeds, corporate documents, and agreements - Advise clients on estate planning, elder law, and estate administration issues, including related real estate, charitable giving, tax, and business issues - Represent clients in estate, conservator, guardian, and trust administration matters, including preparing the necessary petitions, orders, reports, notices, receipts, inventories, and/or accountings

This position requires a Juris Doctorate as well as a license to practice law in the state of Virginia. Additional licenses in other surrounding states are welcome. A background in estate planning, estate administration, or elder law is preferred, although not required.

- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding wills, trusts, medical directives, powers of attorney, taxes, guardianship, conservatorship, probate, and Medicaid planning.
