Your Role as an Estate Planning Attorney:
- Provide legal counsel to clients on estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney - Assist clients with trust and estate administration throughout all stages of the planning process and probate proceedings - Collaborate with client financial and tax advisors to develop comprehensive estate plans that meet the client's personal, financial, and tax goals - Represent clients in probate court proceedings and other related legal matters - Ensure compliance with applicable estate and gift tax laws and assist clients with tax planning strategies - Manage client relationships for complex estate planning and trust administration matters
Your Qualifications & Skills:
- 8-10 years of relevant estate planning experience - In-depth knowledge of trust and estate administration and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals - Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Nebraska - Client-centric with a focus on providing excellent service and responsiveness - Produces high-quality work with attention to detail and accuracy - Strong communication skills, able to convey complex concepts concisely and effectively - Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment - Takes ownership of work and can handle cases with minimal oversight - Driven and shows initiative in seeking responsibility
