Responsibilities: - Explain immigration concepts and provide strategic solutions - Represent clients in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals - Manage caseload and interact with clients - Collaborate with Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants - Conduct intakes with detained individuals at centers - Prepare diverse immigration applications - Review and adjust immigration applications/packets - Work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations - Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients - Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony - Provide legal analysis for clients - Prepare and submit legal briefs for immigration cases
Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Immigration Law - Team player with willingness to collaborate with colleagues - Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred - Strong interpersonal skills - Record of successfully managing legal cases - Familiarity with various immigration applications and petitions - Experience with Case Management Software preferred
