Job Description
- Maintain in-depth understanding of energy market developments and energy regulations.
- Drive the analysis of trends and regulations in the energy space to proactively identify market opportunities.
- Lead the negotiations of new energy contracts and take ownership for signed contracts.
- In cooperation with other Yara units, develop plant operating strategies that minimize energy costs.
- Develop new suppliers and supply options.
- Maintain and develop strong relations with external suppliers and internal customers.
- Develop and defend the client's position on energy regulations in the relevant forums.
Qualifications Required
- Master’s degree in business, engineering or similar discipline.
- 8 years of commercial experience from the energy sector f.ex. negotiation of sourcing contracts, business development projects or trading.
- Proven ability to evaluate new energy markets, utility tariffs, policies, electricity contracts and/or new energy sourcing opportunities and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and a curious mind.
- High energy level, self-motivated, enthusiastic and diligent.
- Strong communication and negotiations skills.
- Strong written and verbal command of English.
- Willingness to travel.
