Job Description
TheEND USER ENGINEER, APPLICATION PACKAGING will be the champion of the corporate application lifecycle and governance model. In addition to creating and deploying packaged applications for both Microsoft and Apple operating systems, this person must have foundational knowledge of most of the technologies used to support corporate endpoint devices to be effective in this role.
Under the direction of the MANAGER, END USER ENGINEERING and with partnership of a core team, this person will support corporate hardware and software with the capacity to troubleshoot and diagnose both. They should be no stranger to using new technologies and quickly shifting to adopt new processes and strategies to accomplish the goals of the larger team. We are open to remote candidates based in the continental United States for this opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Passionately serve as the primary application packager for the corporate end user computing environment. *Collaborate with security partners to reduce the number of vulnerabilities across that same space. *Continuously seek to improve and enhance the application lifecycle and governance model. *Be accountable for reporting and analysis of software in its state of existence on corporate endpoints. *Thoroughly document all changes and incidents. *Selflessly support, learn from, and share knowledge with all colleagues. *Challenge status quo decisions and fixed mindset to further the goals of the organization and foster an agile environment. *Always be flexible to changes in work assignments and willing to lend a hand with anything.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
*REQUIRED
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or related field. *Windows OS including desktop and servers, registry, event logs. *Troubleshooting basics using WinDBG, Sysinternals, Wireshark and other similar tools. *Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge. *PowerShell, VBScript, or other similar scripting language. *Enterprise application deployment experience. *Experience using MECM (SCCM).

*AdminStudio, InstallShield, AppV, WiX, or similar application preparation tools *vSphere, Virtual Box, or other virtualization tools *MDT and MDOP (specifically, MBAM and AGPM) *3rd party patch products (Ivanti, PatchMyPC, etc.) *Applocker application whitelisting *MacOSX and JAMF basic knowledge/support *Bash, Python, or AppleScript basics *SQL, PowerBI, Qualys, Splunk reporting and querying *Cherwell Service Management *Azure services (Intune, Log Analytics, Bot Framework) *Office365 Administration (Office, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*A , Any Microsoft certs, ITIL *Retail experience highly preferred
EDUCATION:
*Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
