As an Employment Litigation Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of labor and employment law matters, including defending and litigating lawsuits, advising and counseling clients, and representing employers in court or arbitration. We are looking for someone with a strong background in employment law, preferably with experience in class action and PAGA cases.
Responsibilities:
- Defending and litigating lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges - Providing counsel and training to employers on various employment and labor law issues - Representing employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters - Handling class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials - 4-6 years of experience, with a strong background in employment law - Current CA Bar admission in good standing - Knowledge of current state and federal agency procedures - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills - Professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $215,500-$232,500, which applies to our California offices and takes into account factors such as experience, education, and location. This is not inclusive of our full range, and actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
