**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** Law Firm, a prestigious law firm located in downtown Sioux City, Iowa, is currently seeking a highly experienced attorney to lead our employment law practice. As the Practice Leader, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented attorneys and staff to provide top-notch legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Advise employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential legal risks. - Review and draft employer policies, employee handbooks, contracts, and other legal documents. - Provide guidance and counsel to employers on day-to-day decisions and practices. - Develop innovative solutions to complex employment problems. - Represent employers in court, as well as in administrative, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. - Admission to practice law in Iowa or the ability to quickly gain admission. - Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing employment law. - In-depth knowledge of relevant court and administrative procedures, as well as federal, state, and local employment laws. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time-management abilities. - Commitment to professionalism and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
