Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Manager (EEM) will serve as a key member of the Energy Management and Sustainability Team providing the data and insights that help energy and operations managers make informed decisions. The EEM will report directly to Montefiore's Sustainability Manager who has responsibility throughout the entire academic health system building portfolio. By way of the Sustainability Manager, the EEM will also report to the AVP of Facilities who oversees facilities and environmental services at all the MMAHS acute care locations. Lastly, the EEM will also be overseen by the SVP of Facilities and Real Estate, who manages both the AVP of Facilities and the Sustainability Manager. Some of the responsibilities of the EEM include to monitor, analyze, and report on energy performance. The EEM will perform analytical support to the energy management program and will be responsible for assisting with the management of energy consultants. The EEM will aggregate large amounts of data from various sources and extract meaningful metrics from it, create meaningful visualizations and summaries of data for presentation to upper management, use data to create predictive operational models with multiple variables, and develop customize tools that provide predictive modeling. The EEM will use data and analytics to recommend, develop, manage, and implement Energy Conservation Measures throughout the portfolio. This position will travel throughout the network and can work from alternate locations or remotely at times.
Certified Energy Manager by Association of Energy Engineers required
