JOB SUMMARY Operates large trucks, delivery vans and other vehicles to make specialty equipment and supply deliveries between the various **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** facilities. Responsible for specialized transport of equipment and furniture with limited supervision. Adheres to proper fleet operations and regulations. Maintains accurate records and documentation as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in warehousing and/or logistics operations with at least two years of medical/facilities support. Two years of professional driving or oversized vehicle experience preferred. Previous experience with medical equipment preferred.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Valid VA Drivers License Required; Must hold Virginia DIP training certificate, and renew on at least a biannual basis
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a driving record within the scope of Carilion's Driver Regulations. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and read and comprehend written materials.Manual dexterity of eye, hand / foot, good motor skills and depth perception are necessary when driving. Electrical and mechanical knowledge, as well as power and hand tool operation and skill. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to carry out tasks unsupervised. Knowledge and skill in basic equipment functions and operation. Must possess computer skills.
