H2: Eligibility
- Only open to 1L law students who have entered into a JD program at an ABA-accredited law school in the United States - Applicants must have a demonstrated record of academic achievement, excellent interpersonal skills, a scientific or engineering degree, and be eligible to take the Patent Bar Exam
H2: Selection Criteria
- Award is based on academic merit (undergraduate, graduate and law school), commitment to a career in IP law, sincere interest in a career at Banner Witcoff, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in IP law - Also takes into consideration written and verbal communication skills, leadership qualities, and community involvement

- Applications will be accepted until January 3, 2025 - Applicants must submit a resume with two professional references, academic transcripts, a legal writing sample, and a one-page statement describing their commitment to diversity and inclusion in IP law
