✓ Outstanding reputation ✓ Relocation support ✓ Flexible working arrangements ✓ Full or part-time We seek a solicitor or chartered legal executive with at least three years of post-qualification experience for our busy and widely respected litigation team. Your office will be in Margate or Canterbury, and you are welcome to tell us if you have a preference. Applications from all-rounders will be particularly welcome, and we expect you will regularly represent clients in disputes involving some or all of the following: property law, including landlord and tenant employment law probate and will disputes contracts boundary disputes, and general commercial litigation. You will have a sound knowledge of litigation processes, and the role will involve frequently issuing court proceedings and attending court. We would also expect you to assist with the investigation and litigation of complex cases and have experience drafting court documents, witness statements and instructions to experts. The successful candidate will possess excellent client care and interpersonal skills and operate with integrity, demonstrating empathy and intuition. If you would be moving away from the capital to take up the post, Margate is on the high-speed train line to London. The position is either full or part-time and will be permanent. If you work full time, your hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Your salary will be negotiable depending on your experience. Working from home is often effective, and we believe in its benefits, so we have a permanent and occasional working-from-home policy. You would be welcome to propose up to 40% home working.
