Work type: Full Time Administrative Location: Indianapolis, IN Categories: Administrative/Professional General Description of Position: The Director will be the chief administrator of the Student Support Services TRiO grant program and will manage the program in accordance with applicable federal education grant program rules and regulations. The Director will implement and direct all facets of the SSS program and monitor and evaluate all components of the program. The Director serves as the face of the TRiO program and interacts with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: * Select, hire, and supervise all full time personnel for this program * Conduct training and evaluation necessary for grant integrity * Lead identification, screening, and selection of grant participants. * Manage record keeping policies and procedures for accurate tracking of grant participant progress. * Compile data for and complete all applicable reports for continuance of SSS grant. * Lead grant team in grant writing during renewal process. * Meet with assigned participants to mentor and assist them in identifying academic, financial, and career needs and to develop Academic Success Plans. * Administer, interpret, and apply various career, academic skills, and personality inventories for participants. * Make presentations to various faculty, staff, and student groups. * Participate in professional training necessary to carry out duties. * Attend related conferences and training programs as outlined in the grant and directed by the Office of TRiO Programs. * Implement program evaluation process in an effort to lead staff in continuous program improvment. * Seek to understand best practices within TRiO community in an effort to maximize delivery of services. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * Two years of administrative experience in higher education administration * Experience in federal educational projects or student personnel work requiring evaluation and documentation procedures * Knowledge of and experience in student support services Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree with concentration in Higher Education Administration, Guidance, Adult Education, or a related field * Teaching experience is desirable Other Requirements: Work Hours: Hiring Range: Team Ivy Referral: Special Instructions to Applicants: Advertised: 05 Jun 2023 US Eastern Daylight Time Applications close:
