Overview: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (LANWT) is seeking a Director of Pro Bono & Bar Relations to provide leadership and management for their Equal Justice Volunteer Program (EJVP) and build relationships with local bar associations, law firms, and other legal organizations.
Responsibilities: - Oversee LANWT's EJVP efforts and supervise branch office Coordinators - Manage grant oversight and assist in identifying and applying for funding - Provide technical assistance and support to EJVP Coordinators - Review and approve EJVP expenditures - Respond to inquiries and requests from Coordinators, potential clients, and volunteers - Attend meetings and events related to pro bono work - Conduct case reviews and meetings with Coordinators and Managers - Create annual EJVP PAI Work Plan and assist with performance evaluations
Qualifications: - Licensed to practice law in Texas - Prior management or leadership experience in a law firm setting preferred - Experience with pro bono program administration preferred - Demonstrated commitment to public interest law or serving the indigent - Strong communication and research skills - Ability to think strategically and develop projects - Fluent in Spanish preferred - Willingness to travel occasionally for work
Compensation: Based on years of relevant experience.
