Candidates must possess a J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited U.S. law school and have knowledge of principles, methods and current developments in the field of study. Additionally, candidates should have experience in instructional strategies and techniques, as well as demonstrated ability to engage in high quality scholarly activity.
Belmont University, a reputed firm in the heart of Nashville, is currently seeking a qualified Director of Field Placements, Assistant/Associate Professor of Law, to join our esteemed College of Law. This is a full-time faculty position with the option to join as an Assistant Professor of Law on tenure track or as an Assistant Professor of Legal Practice. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about experiential learning and has a drive to grow our program to new levels.
As the Director of Field Placements, you will have the opportunity to supervise and manage students participating in field placements and summer externships at local, regional, and national sites. This role also involves curriculum development, maintaining relationships with site partners, and ensuring compliance with ABA Standards. This is a twelve-month appointment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
