Work type: Full Time Administrative Location: Indianapolis, IN Categories: Administrative/Professional General Description of Position: The Director for Recruitment Experiences, Outreach, and Marketing (REOM) oversees campus experiences and outreach events as part of a comprehensive and strategic recruitment plan for Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis Campus. The campus experience for prospective students and their families is at the center of recruitment. The Director REOM plans to organize and manage systems and staff for recruitment goals, individual and group tours, outreach events, and student experiences. The Director REOM also supports engagement in off-campus activities to generate enrollment and helps connect Recruiters with prospective students and influencers to increase applications through strategic outreach. Major Responsibilities: This position will provide support for campus enrollment/yield events including Admitted Student, New Student Recruitment days, New Student Orientation, Campus Showcases; and college- and department-developed events that engage prospective students and families (e.g. College and major fairs, diversity conferences, and tours, career exploration days, on-campus school tours and open houses). Advances the goals of the Strategic Enrollment Plan in diversity, first-generation, Transfer, and non-traditional. This position will require cross-divisional collaboration and coordination with K14, Asst Director of Transfer, Student Life, Diversity, Equity and Belonging, Community engagement, and others. Responsible for communication strategy and Marketing execution for recruitment and its related activities through the Salesforce CRM. This position requires the ability to maintain flexibility working in a dynamic and fast-paced complex scheduling environment. Directs all on-campus recruitment experiences including individual student/family campus visits, and large-scale campus-based Admissions and yield events for general or targeted special populations (FAFSA Friday, Recruitment Days, Showcases, Admitted Student Days, etc.) Manages the onboarding and training of all Student Navigators and Campus Visit personnel, as well as students in the Student Ambassador Program assisting in admissions events (tour guides, panelists, etc.) on or off-campus in collaboration with other Admissions staff and campus partners. Assigns duties, arranges for professional development opportunities throughout the recruitment cycle, and provide ongoing points for evaluation and assessment. Creates camaraderie within the employee and student teams that fosters reliability and engagement with prospective students on their journey. Identifies opportunities for hosted engagement activities or presence at functions with prospective students/families and influencers through targeted events at locations including high schools or communities. Plans programming and invitations to generate attendance. Responsible for annual communication campaigns or carious student categories and execution of campaigns through Salesforce. Responsible for event registration through the CRM. Follows up and converts attendees to complete an action (visit website, take campus visit, apply, volunteer, etc.) Takes the lead role in New Student Recruitment planning, content preparation, and student/staff training for in-person and remote sessions for recruitment. Weekly reporting and monthly report out for associated goals related to the Strategic Enrollment Plan. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Three to five years’ experience in event planning, customer service, sales, marketing and/or related areas. Ability to independently manage multiple projects and creatively problem-solve. Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer supervisory experience. Prefer experience in higher education, admissions, and/or recruitment. Prefer experience working within a CRM (Salesforce) or similar customer communication data system.
