Job Description
- Director of Attorney Recruitment and Development role at a national law firm, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP - Remote and hybrid work arrangements available for successful candidate - Manage a team of three and work closely with firm leadership, including Chairman, Managing Partner, and Chief People Officer - Oversee all aspects of attorney recruitment and development, including lateral hiring, candidate engagement, market analysis, and recruitment campaigns - Collaborate with DEI Office to promote diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts - Design and implement training and development programs for attorneys, including Hinshaw U (firmwide CLE programming) and Dispute Resolution Programs - Ensure competitive and equitable compensation and bonus programs for associates - Minimum 10 years of professional attorney recruitment experience, including lateral associates and partners - Minimum four years of professional development experience organizing training for attorneys - Minimum five years in a supervisory role with the ability to manage and mentor a team - Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility - Technology skills including knowledge of applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office - Bachelor's degree required, Juris Doctor a plus
