JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for the administration and oversight of career courses offered by the Lindner Career Services Center. Design and coordinate the curriculum and instruction of required undergraduate and graduate level career preparation courses while ensuring that all courses are aligned with PACE (Professionalism, Academics, Character, and Engagement) through researching best practices and consulting with colleagues.

This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Curate meaningful and accessible career curriculum and teach for-credit courses including, but not limited to, Career Success Strategies and Graduate Career Management. Engage in the development of a virtual and hybrid career curriculum using various platforms. *Develop and implement systems to increase efficiency in the delivery of classes and create systems so instructors can share course materials and best practices with each other. *Work with instructors to develop course materials and grading rubrics that can be utilized by all instructors. *Maintain working knowledge of Carl H. Lindner College of Business majors and academic opportunities to inform strategic employer engagements. *Develop teaching schedule each semester. Forecast the number of students who will enroll, schedule classes at times that appeal to students and assign classes to instructors. *Enhance classes by identifying opportunities to bring guest speakers to classes, including current students, alumni, employers, etc. *Serve as a Career Coach to undergraduate and/or graduate Lindner students providing assistance with career exploration, major selection, resume development, job searching, interview preparation, and networking. *Assist with the collection and assessment of student and alumni career related data through first destination survey. *Manage relationships with new and existing employer partners to provide support in developing high-quality LPE and full-time job placement. *Participate on senior leadership team to formulate strategic planning and the highest-level operational objectives for project management areas. *Oversee career center social media presence, strategy and content. *Hire, train, and supervise undergraduate teaching assistants to support course instructors. *Represent Lindner Career Services on committee assignments and outreach as needed to advance to curriculum. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Human Resources, Student Personnel, or related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience within career development, higher education administration or business. *Experience developing career-related curriculum for in-person and virtual settings. *Experience providing career or academic support, teaching or designing courses. *Experience as Director or Associate/Assistant Director of a Career Center or similar organization. *Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with the ability to advocate for students from all backgrounds and academic disciplines.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Master's Degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Human Resources, Student Personnel, or related field. *Experience teaching career courses to college students. *Experience designing career courses. *Experience managing curriculum for one or more courses. *Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience. *Expertise in employment trends and opportunities for undergraduate and graduate business students. *Collaborative and team-oriented work style. *Experience assessing curriculum and making data-informed decisions. *Evidence of developing and maintaining positive relationships and partnerships. *Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft programs (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). *Experience with academic technologies and learning management systems such as Canvas, Catalyst, Handshake, VMock, etc. *Knowledge and ability to incorporate NACE career readiness competencies into career coaching and curriculum design.
