Key Responsibilities: - Create and execute a comprehensive labor strategy in collaboration with Sunbelt's leadership and HR management. - Lead collective bargaining agreements, negotiations, and CBA administration. - Manage complex grievances, arbitration preparation, board charges, and other labor litigation issues. - Train and educate Sunbelt leaders on labor relations policies and support their labor needs. - Work with outside counsel and consultants to handle labor matters. - Collaborate with HR business partners to develop positive team member relations strategies. - Anticipate future labor relations issues and develop appropriate programs and strategies. - Support other attorneys on various issues as needed.
Requirements: - J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. - 5 years of relevant labor law experience at a law firm or in-house legal department. - Excellent communication skills and sound business and legal judgment. - Ability to adapt to ambiguity and maintain high ethical standards. - Willingness to travel as needed.
Location: This position is located at the Sunbelt Rentals Support Office in Fort Mill, SC. However, we are open to considering candidates from other locations.
Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $144,862.00 - $199,184.70. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as experience and skill sets.
