Is a strong and capable data analyst with experience in reporting, dashboard design and automation. You will get in behind the data to find the meaningful insights to drive the business forward and to support AIB's purpose. You are capable of completing end-to-end reporting, building an understanding of the Retail Portfolio and combining that with AIB's technical environment. You will be driven and have a willingness to grow. You will work within a high-performing team of analysts, and be encouraged to coach junior team members.

We're the Portfolio MI & Data team with overall responsibility for MI Development, Strategic Reporting and Data Quality for the Retail Bank. The area plays a crucial role in providing meaningful outputs to drive the Retail Business forward.

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU CAN:
*Work with and interpret data to proactively design and deliver MI outputs that will solve problems drive business performance *Develop MI which supports proactive assistance for customers at risk of entering financial distress or who require support through forbearance. *Become a subject matter expert on methodologies for reporting of Non-Performing Exposures and Forbearance, supporting the Bank's regular engagements with external stakeholders. *Build and automating reports and dashboards to support strategic MI and customer contact strategies/campaigns. Both as indicated by senior management and using their initiative in response to key indicators / economic circumstances. *Communicate data-driven results and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. *Identify opportunities to leverage new technology for process improvement and skills transfer to other members of the team. *Be a strong team player with the proven ability to work with others to accomplish common objectives. *Be a self-starter with the energy and drive to learn to use technology to improve processes and solve problems under their own direction. *Gain knowledge and drive awareness of the importance and value of quality data to ensure actions are driven by fact-based insight.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
*2 years data analyst experience (bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Maths or similar desired) *Passionate about analytics and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong knowledge of SQL required. Good understanding for database concepts and understanding of structures desired. *Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, with experience in month end reporting cycles and report development. *Strong data visualisation experience is required with knowledge of one or more BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView is desired. *Strong relationship builder and capable of credibly managing and communicating with internal stakeholders including senior management
