The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** represents the State of New Hampshire in criminal prosecution at the Superior Court. The Hillsborough North office, located in Manchester, NH, is staffed by 13 full time Assistant County Attorneys.
Position:
Our office is currently looking for a recent law school graduate, or current law student, to provide clerical support to all prosecutorial efforts within the office. This internship will enable applicants the ability to gain first-hand experience with the New Hampshire criminal justice system. Interns will work closely with Assistant County Attorneys who are prosecuting criminal felony cases in Superior Court.
Though this would be an unpaid position, the experience gained, through the extensive legal work, will improve your practical knowledge of the criminal law field, while also providing extensive connections within the New Hampshire legal community. Additionally, the position will greatly improve your legal research and writing skills, develop mentoring relationships, and provide potential credit for academic externships.
While working, you will complete legal research, motion writing, and discovery requests for Assistant County Attorneys in real-time, attend and participate in arguments and trail preparation for Superior Court, and provide support for the Assistant County Attorneys in the office. Applicants should have a strong legal research and writing background, and a solid academic record.
