The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** Firm is seeking a driven and bilingual Criminal Defense Associate Attorney to join our successful team in Orlando, FL. We are a rapidly growing Criminal Defense Law Firm with multiple satellite offices throughout Florida, and we are dedicated to providing quality legal representation with a client-centered focus. Job Responsibilities: - Meet with potential clients and perform interviews - Conduct legal research and visit clients in custody - Attend court hearings, trials, and proceedings - File motions and examine crime scenes - Accrue additional evidence to support case arguments - Gather expert witnesses for court testimony - Work on multiple cases simultaneously - Regularly update clients on case progress - Respond to urgent client needs - Willingness to learn and practice family law - Attend community service events - Other duties as assigned
Must Have Qualifications: - Florida Bar licensed and Board Certified - Bilingual in Spanish and English - 2 years of experience in criminal defense (preferably at the State Attorney or The Public Defender’s Office) - Team player with the ability to work well under pressure - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to travel by car across the state - Willingness to be on-call on some weekends - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - High integrity
Nice to Have Qualifications: - Graduated from a top 100 Law School

This is a full-time, contract position with a salary range of $85,000 to $115,000 per year. We also offer paid time off and a flexible 8-hour shift schedule. On-call experience in criminal defense law is required, and a valid Florida Bar license is a must.
Work Location: This position requires the ability to work at multiple locations throughout Florida.
