Position Summary:
- Provides legal counsel and guidance on business activities, operations, and insurance claims to protect company's rights and ensure compliance with laws. - Works from Home Office in Erie, PA. - Responsible for reviewing and negotiating technology, AI, privacy, and data related contracts. - Experience in these areas is preferred. - May also provide legal support for company transactions in other areas. - Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with organizing and directing company's legal activities. - Provides legal counsel and guidance to officers and personnel on various corporate and operational matters. - Reviews and prepares contracts and legal instruments to safeguard company's interests. - Conducts legal research and provides advice on insurance claims. - Participates in trade associations and regulatory and legislative hearings. - Handles legal assignments as directed.

Qualifications:
- Requires a J.D. or L.L.B. degree from an accredited law school. - Minimum of 10 years of related experience in corporate and/or insurance law. - Knowledge or experience in insurance or financial industry is preferred. - Must be admitted to practice law in at least one state. - Travel may be required for this position.
