Position Overview:
- Responsible for franchise and real estate matters in certain regions of the U.S. for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, Inc. - Key member of the RBI Legal Franchise and Real Estate team - Main legal advisor to regional field operations staff and regional general managers - Reports to Vice President, Legal, U.S. and Latin America
Essential Duties:
- Draft and negotiate franchise, development, and ancillary agreements - Provide franchise compliance legal advice - Ensure compliance with franchise regulatory requirements - Draft and negotiate real estate agreements - Provide legal advice on real estate matters - Develop training materials and conduct training for franchise and real estate personnel - Manage and oversee outside counsel for franchising and real estate litigation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school - Licensed to practice law in Florida or another state - Knowledge of real estate law required, franchise and corporate law preferred - 4-8 years of legal experience, with law firm experience required - Strong drafting, negotiating, and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high volume workload
