The Position:
- Provide legal counsel covering the entire business life cycle to all sizes of publicly traded and privately held companies, individual and institutional investors, family trusts, and other entities - Experience working on public or private company deals or financings - Deep knowledge and experience in corporate transactions - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent interpersonal, communication, drafting, and negotiation skills - Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion

Job Requirements:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school - Excellent academic credentials - At least 4 years of corporate experience - Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Ability to develop relationships and foster teamwork at all levels - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate good judgment - Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

- Starting salary for associate positions in the Denver office is $190,000 - Pay is determined based on factors including depth of experience in the practice area - Associates are eligible for Michael Best’s associate bonus program - Full-time position with eligibility for employer-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and accident coverage, and participation in the firm's 401k plan.
