Pierce Atwood Seeks Experienced Corporate Law Associate for Portland Office
Pierce Atwood, a leading law firm in Portland, Maine, is seeking an experienced corporate law associate to join and help build its Business Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, particularly in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building the Business Practice Group in the Portland office - Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions - Represent business entities (corporate, partnerships, and limited liability companies) - Assist with formation and structuring of business entities - Work on finance and private equity transactions - Possess knowledge of securities law (a plus, but not required)
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate law - Strong background in mergers and acquisitions - Experience with general representation of business entities - Knowledge of formation and structuring of business entities - Familiarity with finance and private equity transactions - Securities law knowledge (a plus, but not required)
