The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in commercial lending, specifically in private credit, syndicated loan, and leveraged finance transactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team on a variety of middle market private-equity-backed deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of commercial lending transactions including private credit, syndicated loan, and leveraged finance deals - Collaborate with a team of attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to clients - Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as loan agreements, security agreements, and other financing documents - Communicate with clients and other parties involved in transactions to ensure smooth and efficient completion of deals - Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues - Demonstrate outstanding academic credentials and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial lending, with a focus on private credit, syndicated loan, and leveraged finance transactions - Experience working on middle market private-equity-backed deals is highly preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school - Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment - Admission to the state bar is required
