SUMMARY
The Corporate Counsel for Casino is a full-time position responsible for providing legal counsel to manage contractual matters and address legal issues impacting the casino's operations. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and at least one year of legal experience, preferably in a resort and casino environment. This role requires strong communication, contract drafting and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The salary for this position is $110,000 per year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents - Ensure contracts align with legal and business objectives - Identify potential legal risks and liabilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Perform additional duties as necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - One year of legal experience, preferably in a resort and casino environment - Successful experience as an associate, counsel, or partner - Strong communication skills - Ability to work independently and with a team - Licensed and in good standing in the State of Nevada - Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work collaboratively and influence key stakeholders - Flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends - Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
