JOB DESCRIPTION: The Amazon Legal Department is seeking a highly motivated attorney with experience in competition law and policy to join their team as a Corporate Counsel, Litigation. This role will involve managing and supervising domestic and international disputes and risk areas, coordinating strategy across multiple teams, engaging with government officials, assessing risk, and providing counsel to internal stakeholders on complex legal and policy issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage and supervise domestic and international disputes and risk areas, including worldwide competition - Coordinate strategy across multiple teams and engage with government officials, including regulators - Assess risk and coordinate with senior leadership on risk management - Provide advice and counsel to internal stakeholders on a broad spectrum of complex legal and policy issues

LOCATION: This position is based in either Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA. Candidates must be willing to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
COMPENSATION: - Base pay ranges from $138,500/year in the lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in the highest geographic market - Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience - Total compensation package may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation - Full range of medical, financial, and other benefits included
