Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate contracts and advise on related transactions - Provide guidance on mergers and acquisitions and business entity governance matters - Assist in due diligence efforts and post-deal integration - Stay up-to-date on laws and regulatory developments - Structure and draft documents for commercial and finance transactions
Qualifications:
- Book of at least 200k - Minimum of five years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department - Background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting preferred - Strong drafting, research, and writing skills - Ability to work effectively with teams and independently, as well as manage and prioritize multiple projects - Excellent analytical skills - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff, attorneys at all levels, and clients successfully - Licensed or willing to become licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio
