Overview:
Kelleher Holland, a full-service law firm, is seeking a mid-level corporate attorney with 3-7 years of experience in general corporate/transactions. The ideal candidate will have exposure to M&A, private equity, finance, and real estate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but mighty firm and be directly involved in building client relationships and growing the business. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel and support for corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, finance, and real estate • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents and agreements • Advise clients on potential risks and benefits of various business decisions • Review and negotiate contracts and agreements • Represent clients in negotiations and disputes • Build and maintain client relationships through regular communication and meetings
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Admission to the Illinois State Bar (or ability to waive in) • 3-7 years of experience in general corporate/transactions • Exposure to M&A, private equity, finance, and real estate • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
