Job Summary:
We are looking for a full-time paralegal with previous experience in a corporate/commercial property law firm to join our team. However, if you have the necessary qualifications and a strong interest in corporate and commercial property law, we are willing to provide full training. The successful candidate will assist with company secretarial matters, corporate and commercial property transactions, and post-completion tasks. They will also be responsible for general office duties, such as filing, drafting documents, and communicating with solicitors and clients.

Experience Information:
Prior experience in a corporate law firm is preferred but not essential. However, candidates must have completed the LPC and have relevant electives in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, commercial law, property law, banking, or business law.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with company secretarial matters, including updating company statutory registers and filing with Companies House and HMLR - Conduct legal research and prepare documents - Attend meetings and correspond with solicitors and clients - Complete general office duties, such as filing, drafting documents, and handling incoming and outgoing post and telephone queries
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified LLB or GDL with a 2:1 or equivalent - Completed LPC with relevant electives - Experience using the Land Registry Portal and submitting Companies House forms - Familiarity with drafting board minutes and resolutions - Proficiency in using a legal CMS system, such as LEAP - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organization and time management skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Flexibility and the ability to anticipate the needs of solicitors and clients - Strong work ethic and positive attitude - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel
Career Progression:
For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity for career progression within the firm. After the first 12 months, the candidate may be offered a Training Contract, subject to performance. Three of our qualified solicitors and our current trainee started with us as paralegals, showing our commitment to career development and growth within the firm.
