Position Overview:
- Responsible for drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and processing legal documents and contracts for Kulite's business stakeholders - Analyze and provide legal advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, compliance, and corporate policies - Support upper management and sales teams in dispute resolution with vendors, customers, and contractors - Monitor legal environment and trends to ensure compliance and improve contract templates - Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and ability to balance legal and business risks - Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and 0-2 years of practicing experience - This is a full-time position located at Kulite's headquarters in Leonia, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review various types of contracts including confidentiality agreements, purchase and supply agreements, distribution agreements, and pricing contracts - Analyze and provide legal advice on transaction structuring, enforcement, and regulatory compliance - Support upper management and sales teams in dispute resolution with vendors, customers, and contractors - Develop policies, procedures, and systems to facilitate efficient contract development and analysis - Collaborate with external legal counsel to analyze legal and regulatory issues - Monitor legal environment and trends to ensure compliance and improve contract templates
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - Experience in contract representation, with exposure to contract litigation preferred - Knowledge of international contract law, public contract law, and Uniform Commercial Code - Ability to balance legal and business risks - Highly motivated and detail-oriented with ability to work independently - Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to the New Jersey bar
