Law firm Becker is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join their busy Construction Law and Litigation practice in their Ft. Myers office. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and excellent academic credentials, with superior research and writing skills. Construction litigation experience is highly preferred.
## Responsibilities & Requirements
The Construction Litigation Associate will be responsible for:
* Extensive document review * Case Law Research * Preparation and drafting of pleadings, discovery, motions and memoranda of law * Client relations and communications * Deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial preparation and attendance * Reviewing legal issues and preparing memoranda analyzing legal and factual issues
The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Litigation/Construction Litigation, as well as significant review of documents via electronic review platform. Technical proficiency with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Summation, and a document management system such as File Site is preferred.
