Construction Associate - Manchester: A Permanent, Full Time Opportunity with Competitive Salary
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, professional appointments, and other related documents - Providing legal advice on non-contentious and contentious construction and infrastructure matters - Working with a variety of clients, including contractors, developers, government bodies, and lenders - Handling disputes and litigation, including adjudication, TCC litigation, and ADR - Maintaining and developing client relationships - Staying up-to-date with industry developments and changes in legislation - Collaborating with other teams within the firm on cross-departmental matters - Balancing working in the office and from home - Enjoying a supportive and friendly working culture - Having direct client contact and high-quality work
Experience and Knowledge:
- Qualified solicitor with proven experience in construction law - Excellent academic background and training - Enthusiasm for developing and maintaining client relationships - Strong legal skills and attention to detail - Good communication skills and a proactive attitude - Ability to think laterally and identify related issues and problems - Professional manner and eagerness to embrace a social work environment
