As a Conflicts Attorney, you will play a crucial role in identifying, reviewing, and analyzing conflicts of interest related to incoming legal personnel and new client and matter openings across our Firm's global offices. You will also assist with the creation and maintenance of conflict waivers and ensure compliance with client Outside Counsel Guidelines. This position reports to our Director of Conflict Services, Associate General Counsel, and General Counsel.
If you have a JD from an accredited institution, admission to a state bar, and at least two years of experience in legal conflicts of interest research and resolution, we encourage you to apply. In addition, a strong working knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct and exceptional critical thinking skills are required for this role. Experience with analyzing conflicts for complex transactional matters and lateral partners is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, review, and analyze conflicts of interest related to incoming legal personnel and new client and matter openings - Consult with Director of Conflict Services and General Counsel's Office for clearance and approval on potential and actual conflicts of interest - Follow-up with lawyers and Firm personnel to obtain necessary conflicts clearances, waivers, Outside Counsel Guidelines, and engagement letters - Generate and maintain conflicts waivers for use throughout the Firm - Review client Outside Counsel Guidelines and ensure compliance with Firm policies - Assist with implementing Ethical Walls as needed - Train new Conflicts Analysts and Coordinators on Model Rules of Professional Conduct - Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited institution - Admission to a state bar in good standing - Minimum of two years of experience in legal conflicts of interest research and resolution, preferably in a major law firm or financial institution - Exceptional working knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct across Firm jurisdictions - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to analyze and reconcile potential and actual conflicts of interest in a fast-paced global law firm environment - Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with Partners, Counsel, Associates, and other Firm personnel - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Experience with analyzing conflicts for complex transactional matters and lateral partners preferred
