SummaryBioMarin is offering paid internships in its APAC headquarters in Hong Kong for graduate students, advanced undergraduates, and recent graduates. PeriodThis internship would be throughout the year. QualificationsThe internship provides significant educational and professional experience for fresh graduates or students with a background in Law, Finance, or Corporate Governance and Compliance and strong APAC language skills (skills in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian would particularly be a plus). ResponsibilitiesBy the end of the internship, our intern should have an excellent idea of what an in-house compliance person at a company is all about.As an intern, you will be part of the APAC Compliance team and receive practical experience by engaging in a variety of diverse and challenging activities in Asia Pacific. You will work closely on an array of projects concerning business operations, the rule of law, and governance in this region (including promotion codes and regulations, anti-bribery and corruption, data privacy and protection, etc.).You can also expect to do real work for real (internal) customers, which may include conducting research, managing systems and processes, writing memos, drafting analysis, attending meetings with stakeholders (both internal and external) from Hong Kong and abroad, among other responsibilities.
