Responsibilities:
- Draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial real estate transactions - Provide legal advice and support to clients on real estate matters - Conduct thorough legal research and analysis - Stay up-to-date on commercial real estate laws, regulations, and practices - Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure successful completion of projects - Represent clients in negotiations and at closings - Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively - Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel and other parties involved in transactions - Review and analyze real estate documents and contracts - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff
Requirements:
- Strong academic background with a JD from an accredited law school - Admission to the NJ bar in good standing - Minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial real estate attorney - Previous experience in a reputable law firm or real estate practice preferred - In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate laws, regulations, and practices - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills - Strong research and analytical abilities - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
