The law firm of Wilson Elser is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal for their White Plains, New York office. The firm, which has 44 offices and over 1,250 attorneys across the United States, is committed to teamwork, collaboration, client service, and innovation. The position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and is open to candidates with a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of New York and New Jersey State and Federal Litigation experience in both personal injury and commercial matters. The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 USD and includes benefits such as a 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft standard pleadings and correspondence, including subpoenas, requests for production, FOIL requests, and discovery demands - Manage all aspects of case discovery - Communicate with clients and vendors - Collect and maintain documents and files - Review, redact, and index documents for production, exhibits, and trial - Prepare for trials and depositions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (paralegal certificate preferred) - 4 years of New York and New Jersey State and Federal Litigation experience - Experience in both personal injury and commercial matters
Compensation:
- Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD - Eligible for discretionary bonuses - Full-time position with benefits
