H2: Essential Functions and Schedule
The Paralegal Assistant will assist paralegals, lawyers, and clients with a variety of duties under supervision. This position also promotes and maintains the goodwill and reputation of the firm. The schedule offers flexibility and a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of two days per week in office.

- Provide administrative and paralegal support to specific attorneys in the Government Contracts practice group - Create, format, and edit files in accordance with attorneys' instructions - Prepare and finalize correspondence, client bills, filings, and other documents - Coordinate with firm personnel on issues affecting client matters and attorney activity - Review pre-bills, cross-reference attorney entries, and recommend edits for attorney review - Prepare and update client budgets - Handle new client/matter paperwork and manage conflicts - Conduct factual research and analysis and prepare tailored work products - Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and third parties - Manage attorney file organization and maintenance - Locate and organize documents for witness interviews, meetings, depositions, hearings, and other events - Create and maintain electronic and hardcopy document binders - Assist with scheduling and coordinating events, trainings, and travel for attorneys - Help with time entry, expense reimbursement requests, calendaring, and other administrative tasks
