Responsibilities and Practice: As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on complex cases from inception through trial and appeal. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting case evaluations, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents - Conducting legal research and writing memoranda - Propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions) - Working with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel - Analyzing insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes

Salary and Benefits: As a Commercial Litigation Associate at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** US LLP, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses. The salary range for this position is $270,000 to $315,000, based on experience.

Technical skills:
- 4-6 years of complex litigation experience - Experience with insurance coverage litigation is a plus, but we also welcome candidates with complex litigation experience and an interest in high-level insurance coverage litigation - Interest in emerging risks in insurance, environmental, and products liability underlying litigation - Strong writing and case management skills - Experience handling clients and adversaries - Excellent oral advocacy skills - Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship experience is a plus
Other requirements:
- Must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and be in good standing - Application must include a law school transcript, at least one writing sample, and a cover letter detailing experience or interest in high-level insurance coverage litigation and emerging risks in insurance, environmental, and products liability underlying litigation
