Law Firm Seeking Client Accounting Specialist in Multiple Locations

H2: Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and maintain client and matter set up in accordance with engagement letters and billing guidelines. - Monitor work in progress and produce prebills on a monthly basis. - Perform billing functions and ensure accuracy of calculations and special billing requirements. - Manage attorney and client deadlines and meet monthly billing due dates. - Actively monitor accounts receivable and maintain collection strategies. - Research and resolve client disputes in a timely manner. - Utilize various software and systems to assist with collections process. - Assist attorneys, secretaries, and clients with billing and collections related questions. - Share ideas for system process enhancements and client support enhancements. - Utilize LinkedIn Learning for professional growth. - Other duties as assigned.
H2: Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of legal billing experience with automated billing systems. - Understanding of legal industry's standard billing requirements. - Experience with Aderant expert (previously CMS) and/or automated accounting systems. - Bachelor's degree required. - Ability to handle complex accounts with limited assistance. - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Effective communication skills. - Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office.
