H2: Responsibilities of a Claims Specialist

- Providing claims and administrative support
- General administrative tasks for the Claims Adjusters
- Generating and distributing correspondence
- Electronic filing of claims materials
- Creating and inputting claims information
- Processing claims payments and requests
- Preparing settlement payments
- Handling claims receivables and credit control
- Responding to inquiries from various parties
- Attending staff meetings and scheduling teleconferences

H2: Qualifications for a Claims Specialist

- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Two to three years administrative experience in legal, insurance, or corporate setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within standard claims practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
