H2: Your Role
- Critical role in evaluating coverage, liability, and damages for unique claims - Collaboration with teams and external stakeholders to investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims
H2: Key Responsibilities
- Coverage review to confirm coverage and prepare necessary letters - Thorough investigation including liability and damages assessment, witness interviews, scene inspections, and evidence collection - Management of independent adjusters and direction for investigation process - Liability analysis using statutory and case law - Reserve maintenance to accurately reflect liability and damages - File management, settlement negotiation, and oversight of defense counsel - Reporting on reserve authority, reinsurance, serious loss, and coverage positions - Collaboration with underwriting, compliance, and actuarial teams

H2: Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience for Associate Claims Examiner, 7 years for Claims Examiner - Relevant experience in examiner, adjuster, paralegal, attorney/lawyer, or other transferable role - Multi-jurisdictional knowledge, liability experience, and advanced degrees are a plus
