As a Bilingual Claims Counsel, you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload and make a difference in a stimulating and supportive environment. This is a hybrid role with the option to work remotely from Puerto Rico or in-office in Tampa, Florida.
As a Bilingual Claims Counsel, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of title insurance and escrow claims, as well as claims against the company. Your duties will include investigating claims, determining coverage, negotiating settlements, and managing claim budgets. You will also have the opportunity to appear in court as a company representative and work closely with outside counsel.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. A law degree and 3 years of legal experience are required, and experience in title insurance, real estate, or insurance coverage is preferred. Fluency in both English and Spanish is also required for this position.
In return for your hard work and dedication, First American offers a competitive salary range of $86,700 - $115,600 annually. This range is subject to change based on various factors such as education, experience, and location. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
