Responsibilities: - Oversee all programs and internal operations, including setting priorities and developing program areas - Develop effective systems to track and measure program outcomes - Coordinate with the Executive Director in essential firm leadership - Represent the organization at conferences and other events - Identify best practices and improve internal systems - Provide regular reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors - Assist with grant proposals and other strategies for program growth and development - Partner with the Executive Director to chart the organization's future growth and strategic response to client needs - Engage community leaders and partners and establish relationships with donors
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - Current North Carolina law license or eligibility to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire - 6 years of experience in a management position in legal services, nonprofit organizations, private law firms, or government agencies - Commitment to the organization's mission, values, and vision - Strong management and supervisory skills - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of individuals - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
