Are you a motivated, positive, service-driven individual with a Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania? Franklin County is seeking a Chief Deputy District Attorney to represent the Commonwealth and the County in the prosecutions of criminal offenses within the County. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $68,824.76 - $88,340.52 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist police in investigations, provide legal opinions, conduct legal research, and represent the Commonwealth in court proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and advise junior attorneys, act as a liaison between the assigned judge and assistant district attorneys, and represent the District Attorney in matters pertaining to policy or procedure.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least three years of experience as a criminal prosecutor at either the state or federal level and be admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Some training in computers is helpful and continuing legal education is required.
