Masters Degree in Taxation. Experience with ProSeries, GoSystems, or other tax preparation software. Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or other research software. Experience with tax planning and consulting.

##H2: Responsibilities
As part of the MPO tax practice, you will be responsible for:
- Complex tax preparation, tax research and tax planning with minimal supervision - Preparing fiduciary, individual, estate, gift and corporate tax returns - Providing guidance and explanations of tax and technical terms to clients - Participating in federal, state and local government tax audit and examination defense - Helping clients through the collection process by removing levies, garnishments and liens - Amending and correcting previous tax returns - Filing delinquent tax returns - Filing Offers in Compromise - Negotiating with the IRS and state governments to reduce tax liability and/or establish a reasonable payment plan
##H2: Employment Details
This is a full-time position with flexible work hours and the possibility of remote work. There will be overtime hours from February 15th through April 15th, including Saturdays as needed.
##H2: Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- CPA certification or Enrolled Agent certification - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience - Five or more years of tax experience with at least two years of supervising responsibility
