ROLE TITLE: CAPITAL MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
LOCATION: AIB, Molesworth Street (with permanent remote/hybrid working options)
This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Within Capital & Liquidity our aim is to be a key enabler of AIB's sustainable growth by ensuring our customers and other stakeholders have confidence in us as an institution with a solid Capital and Liquidity foundation and a reliable product offering which forms the basis of long term relationships. We seek to achieve this by:
*Prepare AIB's capital planning & stress testing, including for subsidiaries ensuring that accurate and timely forecasts are prepared to facilitate strategic planning. *Preparation of the Group ICAAP Report, assessing AIB's material risks, future capital position, and any requirement for mitigating capital actions. *Contribute to enhanced risk-adjusted performance (RAROC) measurement and analysis, in cooperation with wider team *Prepare Recovery planning options and test them under extreme stress scenarios for viability. *Develop AIB's strategic relationship with credit rating agencies, providing detailed analysis as required, and working actively to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. *Support initiatives to continually improve processes and enhance efficiency, both within the Capital Management Unit and beyond. *Strong appreciation of the regulatory environment and its impact on AIB.

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU CAN/HAVE:
*Degree in a business or numerical discipline. A professional qualification e.g. accountancy, actuarial, risk management would also be advantageous; *Over 3.5 years experience in Financial Services; *Knowledge and understanding of financial models and an appreciation of mathematical concepts; *Ability to articulate complex concepts/results in simple language; *Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; *Information and Data Analysis; and, *Experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
